Hi Brookie & Jess, hope that you are both having a great time in caloundra, wish that I was there too! It is a bit grey here but not too
cold, which is good. Lots of cute little lambs everywhere, one next door must keep losing it's mother because it keeps crying { must
be a boy!!!) We had several wild ducks strolling around on the lawn this morning as though they owned the place! They have nests
down on the sream behind the house. There are dozens of pukekos as well, they are in plague proportions, bit like " gold coast
chickens! " Rob is fed up with them as they have eaten the buds on his plants. So sad about the cricket isn't it, we watched most of
it & rob taped some for G/dad who missed the last as he was lazing around in hospital!!! Well will be back Mon. miss you all lots of

Great to spend time with you and the rest of the Family for the wedding of the year. What a great do it was and everyone had a

Well hey Jess - round 7 done and all going well we read. Thats great news for you all and now its on and up to do all the things that
have been on hold for months. We have all been enjoying our summer holidays -the weather has not been the best but we have all
had fun anyway. And wouldn't you know it, as everyone heads back to work the weather is getting better and better!! We spent lots
of days out boating on Lake Dunstan and Annelise spent hours on the water skis and mastered the new size really well. We also
went fishing heaps - Kirsten and Annelsie share the honour for most fish caught. Willy went away to the North island for his
summer break and travelled all around the place to "check it out". So for us its all back to work (I start again tomorrow - Yuck) but
Annelise gets 2 more weeks before school starts again.

Well hi Jess, seems that things are a bit tough at the moment for you - we were sorry to read that. we will keep thinking of you, and
do hope that some good news comes soon. We have been really excited for Ben and know that good things must also come your
way. You kids keep us all fighting and your strength amazes all of us. All OK here in NZ - we would love some of your heatwave, we
have have an early summer winter here over the past 2 weeks - hail and cold cold winds and rain, rain, rain. It "sucks" the kids keep
telling me. Annelise is really busy with her sport especially Touch as she gets ready fir South island Tournament this weekend in
Christchurch - a 9 hour bus trip away for her on Friday. She got presented today with her Silver gymnastics badge and was really
proud. Will is back working after he had 7 weeks at home after an operation. Kirsdten is home from university for 2 1/2 months to
earn some $$$ to pay for another year. peter and I are great, really happy that our kids are Ok and not having to deal with all the

Hi, Jesse, my name is Tania Eichler and I used to live next door to you in Bellbowrie. I saw you when you were in your Mum's tum
and we had my first child, Sonny, about a year after you were born. Sonny was diagnosed with Leukaemia in 1998 and went
through 2 years of intensive chemo and stuff. We got through it all, met some great people, and our family really came together to
support us. It looks and sounds like you have alot of support. Sonny is terrific. What seemed to be very bad ended up being very
good - Sonny used to say - no more bad shells growing in me!!! Thank God. Sonny is now 8years old and is very fit and healthy.
Keep going, always hold on to the hope that you will get rid of all the bad cells. The photos were great to look at. Say hi to your

Hi Little Aussie Battler,
We have got Granny and Poppy W here in New Zealand at the moment and it is great to catch up on how you are first hand. We
are doing other things as u can understand but all of us are so happy and pleased things are still looking great. Pop W showed us
some pictures of you fishing and things about neat times on some desert island near Brisbane called Moreton Fig or something.
Anyhow big fish are neat except when girls catch them!! Um Granny is OK and so is Poppy, hard to understand him, maybe he is
an Aussie and not a Kiwi. Still he is neat and we will look after him and send him back to you so you can do some more fishing for
BIG fish. Tell Mum I will talk to her soon about the drink she may feel she owes me. Hey Brooksie, been hearing all the good things

Indy looked like fun. I watched it on TV. You had a great view. Our neighbour works for the Stone Brothers Racing Team. One of
their drivers, Marcus Ambrose, came first on Saturday in his Pirtek Ford and he came second on Sunday. Go the V8s! Brooke had

Jess - that is such good news - a bump in your road levelled out somewhat. i know that as you continue along the road, there might
yet be a bump or too but getting to where you are now must feel great. half way there wee guy and haven't you done well. Keep on
keeping on and the next few months will fly on by. Won't be too long and all the things you love to do will be happening every day.
Tomorrow is the start of Annelises representative Touch season and as I write this I know that we are ever so lucky that she can
just go and do it. Annelise has a few problems with her sight and some things are a real challenge to her - but she can play some
sports (she picks ones that she can manage - so thats why she plays rugby and touch - other ball games are not possible as she
can't see the ball) BUT when we look at what you are coping with being partially sighted is a nothing - it does not hurt and it does
not make her sick. The worst for her is being different than the other kids. Say a big hello to your family and all those super people
that are supporting you - tell them they are awesome. No one can walk alone and you sure don't have to do that. take care and all
my best wishes and love that one day soon you will be back to doing all the things you used to do

It is great news, although when talking to Jess the other night he quietly pointed out that it is not full remission, so mature for
someone so young, but it is certainly a major step in the right direction and also most importantly a moral boost to all who have
been put through the ringer.
We will continue to follow the progress and are waiting to hear when Jess will get his Skippers Certificate now that he is

Well hey Jesse!!! Fishing and what a great trip you had!! Fishing season has just started here and we see all these "men only"
trips - we were in Queenstown on Friday and all the way home we saw heaps of fishermen out on the rivers. Not quite what you
have been up to but earlier this year we went a holidaying in the north island and while there Peter and Annelise spent a whole day
at Sea (I'm a land only person!!) fishing - something Peter has wanted to do for years and years. Like you peter had an awesome
time, drove the boat - he said it stopped him being seasick. Poor Annelise - she was sick all day and stayed on a bunk most the
time - she hates sea fishing!!! Take care you wee champ

Hi Jesse, we are Bens New Zealand aunt, uncle and cousins (well a few of them anyway) we pop in each day (soemtimes more
than once) to check how Ben is going and to leave a message. While browsing saw the link to you and thought we would pop in
and say hi. You kids are just awesome - You fight the big fight and do it in style, smiling and happy to do what you can when you
can. You might chuckle (me showing my age probably) but I saw that Richard Hadlee was a feature on your site, and thought I
know that guy - whoops I had the wrong one. Our Richard Hadlee was a world famous NZ cricketer!!! Jesse we are a 5 person
family, Peter, Kathryn, Kirsten (21 and studying PhysEd at Uni), Will (19and working for a pest control comapny but presently not
too good -he had surgery on Thursday to do some running repairs to his person and is out of action for a few weeks - worst
problem is not being able to laugh at his mates jokes!!) and Annelise (shes 9 and out busy little person, loves playing sport
especially Rugby and Touch) We know how lucky we are as a family to so far have made it through with none of the toyugh stuff
that you guys are coping with. So hey Jesse, you keep on keeping on, you will be back to all the things you love most soon, the
illness and treaetment are just bumps in the road. And Jesse's Mum and Dad - take heart that others walk with you, we can't share

on the pizza(?)- Steak sandwiches are nice- my friend's Dad used to bring in a frying pan and make them in the visitor's kitchen!!-

Anyway- just wondering if you are aware of Camp Quality...I did a couple of camps with them as a carer (looked after a girl with
cancer)- it's for a whole week, away from the hospital (if you are interested maybe you could look into it when you don't have to
have so much chemo) and family etc and you get to do heaps of really fun stuff- I think Brooke can even go on the first camp with
you if she's not too "old" ...if you're interested in it...tell your mum to ring them or email me, I can tell her more...they should be in the

Well, I have just read through the history page a bit and I have to say that it all felt very real for me. I was treated for testicular
cancer nearly two years ago in the radium institute building, 2 buildings across from your building. Things happen very quickly, from
virtually nothing to all of a sudden your in hospital having operations and chemo. It's funny that now it is only 2 years later and it

Only found about your website this afternoon. I went into my room after lunch and lo and behold 4SF had taken it over, once again.
Ms Farrell showed me your site and I had a read. Had your big sister in my room yesterday- she said that you had little bits of hair
on your pillow. My Mum and Dad had that as well years ago. She and I laughed! Your Mum will need to vacuum your sheets! Can
